Interview
with Esther Hwang
AC:
Esther, now, that we're in a romantic mood, can you describe your
first kiss?
Esther:
My best kiss...my first kiss. I was 13. John "spun the bottle."
He smiled a crooked smile and turned really red when the bottle
pointed at me. I felt my ears burn and my face turn into 10 different
shades of red and purple when he leaned over and kissed me on my
lips. I almost passed out! I felt the touch of his lips on my mouth
all day...that day. Now, that's what you call a kiss!
AC:
Esther, what is your favorite movie, book and place?
Esther:
My favorite romantic movie/story is Cinderella. My favorite romantic
book is Gone with the Wind. My favorite romantic place is the Island
of Lanai (Hawaii).
AC:
Esther, what was your best Valentine's gift?
Esther:
Oh..let's see...the best Valentine's gift I have ever received:
Well last year, while I was working at the Mayor's office, I got
a bouquet of flowers (mostly roses) every hour from about 1 pm until
5 pm. I received (via delivery services) 5 bouquet of flowers every
hour on the hour five times....gee..it was rather overwhelming.
Then, I went home, and there was another bouquet delivered to my
home! ^_^
I have to admit,
I loved every minute of it. The interesting thing was the bouquets
were all signed. "From a fan, From your devoted Fan, From a
judge who gave you a 10 at all your beauty contests, From one who
admires you and all you do" and so on... To this day, I don't
know who sent me all those roses. I would like to find out, but
in a way, I am caught up in the romantic mystery of it all. The
enigma behind this character intrigues me and sweetly haunts me.
I understand
that my "admirer" wants me to experience the gnawing,
painful, wonderful, deep passionate NEED to know who he was and
is...Well, needless to say, it works! He left me to dwell on that
limb of emotional hopeless romantic notions. Thank you wherever
you are for making my Valentine's last year a worthwhile experience!
You made this little girl still believe in fantasies and just old
fashioned romance. :)
I am still waiting
for my knight in shining armor to come and lift me on his great
white horse and together we will ride off into the sunset...
AC:
Esther, What is your fantasy for Valentine's Day?
Esther:
My fantasy Valentine this year would be for this to happen all over
again, but with a REAL person/knight behind all the roses. :)
AC:
Esther, that was inspiring!
AC:
How are you spending your Valentine's Day?
Esther:
Currently, I am not dating anyone. Yup,...not even DATING, never
mind the steady boyfriend thing. hehehehehe :)
First time in my life I think I am completely single on Valentine's.
I don't even have a date. I am thinking of spending Valentine's
with my webmaster and working on my website. Romantic, huh?
